At many companies, Continuous Improvement is a nice idea.  At Spectro Alloys, it is a Core Value. In many ways a picture is worth a thousand words, and in our case, the impact of our continuous improvement process is even visible from space - courtesy of Google Earth. Highlighted in these images are the results of multiple improvement processes and continuous improvement events. Reducing the costs of the recycling process - financial and environmental - has been a key focus over the last 2 years. Our new sorting system has dramatically reduced bag house waste generation, and our 5S program involves every employee at Spectro.  The result is a cleaner, safer work environment - which is even visible from space:
